Philip Weinstein

Phil is a Professor and one of the founding members of the Ecology and Health research group at the School of Population Health. He has a background in both medicine (MB BS) and ecology (PhD), with specialist qualifications in epidemiology and environmental health.

 

His areas of research expertise include environmental epidemiology and ecosystem health and he has wide experience in identifying and managing communicable diseases, including vector-borne illness and outbreak investigations for water and food borne pathogens. He has published extensively in journals of medicine, public health, epidemiology, entomology and human geography.
