Clemencia has a BSc in medicine and surgery. She worked as a medical practitioner for several years and has completed a postgraduate study in occupational health and safety in Colombia. Clemencia also has a Master degree in Applied Epidemiology and has been involved in air pollution projects related to air quality and human health impacts. She is currently undertaking a PhD investigating health impacts of water reuse. Through her career, Clemencia has had the opportunity to work with government, academia and industry in different aspects of environmental and public health.
